Only a month in, and it’s done! Well, mostly. As it stands, here’s your first look at my convention and appearance schedule for 2012! I’ve been hard at work on it, and I think it’s fairly complete at this point– enjoy!

Here it is at last–  late, but here nonetheless! Special thanks to Stephen Downer for the colors on this one. Diehard Skyward fans will recall Steve not only colored the covers of all the issues so far, he also colored the interiors to issue 1!

Thing is, I’ve drawn 4 different covers for this issue–  I just wasn’t happy with any of the others until now. Anyway, you faithful followers have stuck by me through thick and thin, eagerly awaiting more morsels of info on the new Skyward issues (of which I have several nearly completely drawn as I write this)… so you deserve to see this first! I won’t post this around for a few days, so show the love and let me know whatcha think!

Note of interest: This is one of the first things I drew this year, having drawn it on the 3rd or something. Hard to remember a couple weeks ago.

Three news stories posted in one day?! Sorry to overwhelm you guys. AS LONG AS YOU ARE BUYING SKYWARD #ZERO, THOUGH, ALL’S GREAT.  In the latest news from and featuring lil’ ol’ me, Newsarama just featured SKYWARD and DOUBLE FEATURE COMICS in a news story about their recent deal to go with Graphic.ly as its digital distributor as well as the Double Feature iPad app of all things awesome in digital comics!

My artwork is featured heavily in the article (written by the ever-amazing Vaneta Rogers), so you should check it out!
