It does! Some of the biggest news out of San Diego this year, too– I was there in the panel as they unveiled it. Very exciting stuff.

One of my favorite pieces I’ve done live at a convention– this Magik piece at 11 x 17 inches is right up there among my all-time favorites of my own stuff. It was also the first time I’d ever used Copic markers on a commission before, really– if I remember correctly. The subject matter isn’t something I’m typically known for (I think), but it turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself.

Another Zatanna from SDCC for your perusal and approval…
This one was done in pencil on standard 11 x 17 inch bristol– done for an old college friend who we saw at SDCC and had this commission set up ahead of time to pick up there. I’ve been waiting to share this for a bit now– Enjoy!

Here’s my various SDCC 2011 teasers hyping my presence at Comic-Con. BOOTH 2103 with the DIAL R STUDIOS boys! Check it out, people!
Oh yeah– and here’s my Comic-Con package deal…
There it is! Swing by for a copy of the NEW full-color Skyward #1, a Skyward print, and a JACK THE DOG (which I’ve mentioned a lot lately here on the blog) all for 25 bucks! If there are any left after the show, I’ll see what I can do for those that can’t make it, but the price is exclusive to the Comic-Con show floor.
See ya there!

Here’s a look at several of the commissions (in various stages on a few, as well) that I had lined up for HeroesCon this year! There was a LOT to get to this year, and although it took away from Skyward a bit, I’m glad they turned out as they did. Thanks to everyone who ordered a piece– you helped make this the best HeroesCon yet!
Oh yeah– my HeroesCon 2011 Charity Art Auction piece of the Avengers (from the last blog post) went for $1,000! Wow. Thanks, everyone! Glad to help out an amazing show like Heroes in any way I can.
Special thanks go out to my wife, Kelly Dale, on the inking assist on just about every HeroesCon 2011 piece for the show before and during the show.
Enjoy! Click to embiggen.
