ABSOLUTE ZEROES CREATORS: JEREMY DALE
Q: Okay, introduce yourself. Who are ya-- age, location, what do you do?
Jeremy Dale: Gee, that was subtle. Okay, I'm Jeremy Dale, and I'm a comic book penciller. I'm 26, and JUST moved to Columbia, South Carolina.
Q: What are you working on currently?
JD: I'm involved in a lot right now. I just finished work on the second issue of Ronin Studios Absolute Zeroes, my creator-owned series.I recently drew a story with writers Leah Moore and John Reppion for Space Doubles from Th3rd World thats supposed to debut later this year. I also illustrated a story awhile back Ronin's HOPE: New Orleans book, due out in July.
Don't forget the Heroforge Ink 2006 Sketchbook, which debuted at WizardWorld Chicago 2006.
Q: Where can we pick up these books?
JD: Well, you can pick up Absolute Zeroes through Comixpress or DCBService soon enough, Ive heard, as well as on my website's store.
Q: What's your dream gig-- the one job you want to do over anything else?
JD: Something along the lines of Marvel Team-Up, where I can draw lots of characters and settings on a whim.
Q: Hitting any conventions this year?
JD: Sure, I love conventions! I've already done a signing at Alter Ego Comics in Muncie with Sean McKeever and Troy Hickman, Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC, and WizardWorld Chicago in Rosemont, IL. Upcoming, though:
Mid-Ohio Con in Columbus, OH ( November 25th-26th )
I should be exhibiting, but I'll be there whether I am or not. I love the panels at this con-- hopefully this year's will be just as stellar as in the past!
Hope to see you there!
