A Quick Note From Jeremy Dale.

Hey, all. It’s Jeremy. Let’s chat for a moment.

You may  have noticed that in the last couple weeks, my new creator-owned comic, SKYWARD, launched worldwide. Well, we actually gave it a pre-launch a week earlier with San Diego Comic Con exclusives for issues 1 and 2 before the book even hit comic shop shelves as well. Hey, if you want to be picky, it launched a couple years ago at San Diego, where I threw out issue one when I self-published the series.

We received incredibly amazing reviews from a large variety of places, each one more enthusiastic than the last.

Due to early buzz about the book and solid sales, my publisher ACTION LAB upgraded it to an ongoing series! Their first ever.

We did interviews with podcasts, comic news sites, major pop culture news outlets (stay tuned), and more. I did a featured interview with comics fan legend Cliff Biggers for his weekly Comic Shop News  that’s distributed to comic shops everywhere– I haven’t found a copy myself yet, but it’s apparently out there.

Then issue one sold out.

We got heavy press from Bleeding Cool, which really helped get the word out.

And Issue two sold out.

Then Bleeding Cool ran a story that copies of Skyward #s 1 and 2 are being sold on eBay anywhere from 25 to 55 bucks a pop.

I embarked on a nationwide SKYWARD SIGNING TOUR.

Needless to say, it’s been a busy time over here at Skyward Base.Regardless, it’s out now. it’s been a long time coming, and I thank each and every single one of you that picked up a copy. To tell the truth, my life has revolved around Skyward for so long now I can barely remember NOT working on it. It’s been a passion of mine to drive it to where it is today.

But I couldn’t have done it without you guys and gals out there that have helped make it the success it is today.
