FAQ: Which G.I. Joe comics did Jeremy Dale illustrate?

G.I. Joe and Jeremy Dale

Since I get this question all the time from fans, I thought I might as well compile the answer here so I can direct them to one cohesive answer in one link. Enjoy!

- I was hired starting in late 2007 by Conceptopolis to illustrate several G.I. Joe comics.

- They were  written by classic Joe creator and legend Larry Hama, and the continuity from these would fit neatly in between the issues (and sometimes literal pages) of the original 1980’s Marvel Comics G.I. Joe run.

- The all-new comics were packaged as the main box art and inserted into the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero 25th Anniversary toy line in their two-character packs.

- I did 6 of the 12 issues. The others were illustrated by Andrew Froedge, Sheldon Goh, and Eduardo Ferigato.

- Here’s an easy-to-follow checklist of the Jeremy Dale G.I. Joe comics:

- I have tons of pages in my gallery here on www.jeremy-dale.com from this project. Check them out here:

- As of this writing, there are no current plans known to me to reprint these outside of the action figure packs.

- If you’re interested in purchasing original artwork from my G.I. Joe run, contact me at jeremyhdale@yahoo.com . I’m selling them as cheap as possible to make room in my studio for the constant influx of my latest work. :)

- You can still find these comic packs on Amazon and many other online venues, and the copies I sign at conventions for the fans sometimes end up on Ebay as well. Good luck!
